Sounds interesting. Interesting enough that I may actually un-box and load the game. Is there a level that you can practice on? I played the original Half-Life, but never loaded, or used, the multi-player features. Don't want to be too clue-less.

Never kick a sleeping enemy. Shoot them, it's easier.
Hi Dead!
The game is supposed to come out on March 25th, there should be a demo before that.

I looked closer at the game and I have the older version of "Counter-Strike", not "Counter-Strike: Condition Zero". The cover picture looks almost the same on the web-site , that is until you enlarge it.
And f00, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

The only good enemy is one that is Rotting In Pieces.
Ok...I had this game IN MY HANDS at Electronic Boutique and was taking the plastic out to whisk it out of the store and into my greedy little FPS hands...but I decided to wait to see what my NOLFing buddies were gonna do. At $49.99....I want to make sure Im gonna see some familiar faces.
From what I can gather, there is not a COOP mode as we have come to know and love with NOLF2.
Its basically a team deathmatch with a twist because you can select the team member you are....medic..demo expert..infantry..I think there were 1/2 dozen choices.
You are pitted against other teams to accomplish some goal. It doesnt really say how much AI interaction there is...im guessing minimal...but there must be some because this is the first Counter Strike Multiplayer that has single player missions.
hrm. that sounds like it could still be interesting... are there any reviews available that focus on the multiplayer stuff we like? maybe there are other games that are not as expensive that will run on the hardware we have and still have a similar mode... so we could try the genre without having to fork over a ton of cash.

Hrm. Happy birthday to me.
I may try to get the demo and see... I don't like to think about it but some day we may have to move *sniff sniff* beyond nolf2...
Unless somebody can figure out how to make SP missions... I haven't even had time to sit down with DEDIT and make anything...

You know whats funny?
I've seen new coops listed, but they're timed out and one server was even
called New Coop Test.
SO there is actually some people creating them,
The real question is, will we ever see them?
Nolfgirl's site has the LTC files of Japan and Siberia available for download, maybe one day I'll experiement with them.
