I realize those are pasted directly from the site, so this is no criticism of your, but wots a 1Gb MHz CPU? I suspect the 256MB RAM is the video RAM requirement... if not, then the voodoo server can probably handle it with more ram.
Also, so can my toy if I get a better video card... but 256MB is a lot of Video RAM. We are about due for that though. Every 6 months...

I tried every mirror site they had...and they are either so busy their servers cannot possibly process my request for a 1/2 gig ZIP file
or...they are liars...they dont really have the damn demo ready.
Given the whispyness of video game releases these days, I wouldnt be a bit surprised if it were the latter.

f00, I have no idea what that is, I just copied and pasted the post verbatum.
I dont think its video ram, I think its just the regular ram.
If you need a 256 megabyte video card to run the game, than there won't be that many people playing considering how much they cost.
