Does any one play these besides me, and if you do, we should get together and play one of these weekends. (not to say that i'm tried of Nolfing, but crossdressing men and gun toting mimes only take my game fix so far )
I enjoyed playing Diablo II. Never did any multi-player until NOLF1 which was ok, but really didn't get into it. So, needless to say, I haven't a clue about Diablo II.
My son lifted my copy of Diablo II went he got me the expansion set, and in one of my "what if I do this" sessions I destroyed my system (some work, some don't) the game went with it.
Since he will be back in a few months, I should be able to get it up and run again. He likes the game, so you may get two for one if I get this Router up and running.
Is Diablo a Co-op? I know you can hire Mercenaries in the game, does it work the same way in multi-player?
Diablo 2 has a multi player option under battle.net You want to pick the secure one, not "open battle.net" . Once you do that you have to pick a realm. I'm a member of the Westcoast Realm. The realm you pick decides who you can interact with. Then to play you start a character, and join a game. In the game you can form parties with other players and go through the quest, sharing experiance points and such. I like it. You can also still play by yourself online too.
anyways if you get it up and runing tell me what you use for a logon name and i'll add you to the "friends" list (lets me see if your on and where you are) my account name is KoFora (or KaFora can't remember) some checky bastard already took Fora and Flora .
It'll be nice to have another playmate in a different sitting.

I've played Civ3 a few times, but found it too awkward to use. My favorite strategy game is Age of Mythology. Now THAT is fun.
