The first ever thinking mans ( persons ) FPS. You are actually rewarded for hiding in the shadows ( the HUD has a hiding icon much like NOLF2 ). The AI was some of the smartest I ever played against. For example...doing battle with an enemy...you finaly whittle him down to near death...does he stay to fight?...nope...he runs away screaming at the top of his lungs for his comrads to assist.
Best storyline Ive ever played. Graphics were awesome for its time...its about 4 years old now but they rival the first NOLF. Time period was retro future.....so far in the future that civilization has actually returned back to the midde ages. I had a dialup at the time so Ive NO idea what kind of mutlplayer there was....BUT...I hear rumors that Thief 3 is right around the corner...and its gonna be released on a DVD.
Oh man...Ive gone and got myself all worked up now. I cant wait!!
I myself am a strategy (forgive the spelling), and army building game player until NOLF came out. My current addiction is Civilation 3. That game is so complicated it's ridiculous!
And I know i'll get hammered for this, but I also play YU-GI-OH the card game with my little brother. It's kinda like Magic (again with the hammer) or StarWars (yet again with the hammer) but more kiddy based. However, my deck sucks because i'm not willing to spend the money on booster packs.
I don't know if any of you even know this but I also collect and play Minatures Games. I play Warhammer, Warhammer Quest and Warzone. My favorite part is going into a game shop, metting the "guys" and presiding to kick their ass, cause I'm just a girl. Poor smucks.
Anybody else play any unquic games. (Drinking games included)

So, just how much more "out of the closet" can you get(*) than a bunch of guys carrying lipstick cameras and powder-puff codebreakers across frozen wastelands in fur-trimmed coats?

I will only admit to playing FPS's...and the furthest I will come out is admitting I actually bought legal copies of Serious Sam ( Yes..both the original and the Sequel ) and the biggest Serious Sam ripoff Ive ever seen my life...Will Rock, which actually sucked more than Serious Sam if you can believe it.

I have some other............indulgences that I have put aside abd ocasionally play
GTA3 and Vice City
And when I feel like Building............The SIms
I am embrassed to admit I have ALL the expansions
But my biggest enjoyment comes from playing Nolf 2 coop and CJ in coop form.
My games
Back in the days BN (Before Nolf),
f00 and i played Perfect Dark, Duke Nukem: Zero Hour,and Rush 2049 together.
Its been awhile since i've had guest sat my home, so i only play Nolf2 and CJ Coop anymore.
My big addiction is the Legacy of Kain series. i have them all. (yes, including Blood Omen)
I prefer 3rd person adventures.. Jakc and Daxter, LoK, Oni, Maximo..etc...
OH! And Prince of Persia: Sands of Time kicks ass! it's game play rivals the LoK series!
Hands down...all out best first person shooter EVER!!!!!
