Voodoo TagFest
Server Name = Voodoo TF ( Under DeathMatch Servers )

Our first officially sanctioned public event will be a deathmatch style of play...but not just any deathmatch.In keeping with Voodoo's style of being different, this event will be a NON LETHAL contest where the players tally their tag scores only. You will only be able to use non lethal weapons such as Tranqs or laughing gas nades to tag your opponents. If you can make someone laugh to death, more power to ya but when we look at the tally sheet at the end of each round, well be subtracting the Frags from the Tags so its in your best interest to lay off over using the shock darts.
This event Will use the following maps;
Brutal in Brussels (bib)
LAB
CAVE
Leaving Los Alamos (DD_LLA)
Exile to Egypt (ETE)
Discount Warehouse
These maps can be downloaded at www.nolfgirl.com
Once youve downloaded and unzipped or unpacked the files, you will be left with something called a Rez file.
Make sure you put the Rez file in the Custom\Resources directory under your main Nolf2 installation dir.
You have to have these rez files downloaded and moved to the right directory on your harddrive or you will notbe able to play this event . Also, if you have trouble, be sure Custom\Mods and Custom\Attributes
are both empty.
This Event will run from
Friday April 30th - 8pm CST
to
Monday May 3rd - 5am CST
The password and server name will be announced here over the next few days. Good luck and spread the
word amongst the registered Voodoo players in case they havent visited HQ recently.

Just to flush this out a lil more...
I decided Gorf didn't look nearly busy enough, and thrust upon him the unwanted role of
Official VoodHQ Special Events Coordinator..
He has kindly agreed (at least.. kindly to my face
) to plan some special events for us
in the hopes of getting some of you ppl to start participating more.
If you have suggestions for special events, etc.. please feel free to spam GORF's mailbox

Hey Gorf, I hope you don't mind me adding to this...I highly recommend
downloading this mappack
http://nolf.reality-warped.net/FILES/maps/JAG_SUPER_MAP_PACK.zip
It contains every map ever made, condensed into a single rez and whats great is that it avoids the cshell.dll error.
Just make sure you delete any custom map you might have before adding the mappack.

Rez Files?
You dont have to "open" them. All you do is move them into the right directory. NOLF2 uses them when your playing.

As far as ideas go...didnt seem like a bad one, but had some problems setting up the modded maps to load up players with the right kind of default weapons when starting out. I love it when a plan comes together!
We also didnt see too much traffic. Here are some stats
- Most Players in game at the same time = 6
- 19 of us popped in a total of 48 times
OK...so maybe this was the wrong venue....Ive got some more ideas up my sleeves...but lets hear what YOU doods want!!!

Ok I want to know what happened Friday?
According to the list on Friday evening, the server had 3 people, but when I logged on, everyone was gone.
Did it timeout or did people decided to quit?
