All Time Favorite PC games?

What are your favorite PC games over the years? Which did you find the most exciting or immersive. Any category.
Here are some of mine:
- Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2
This is by far one the best PC games I have ever experienced. Level design was captivating and well conceived. There were numerous cinema-style cutscenes. And the game was developed at a time when single player mode was the main focus of game design. Once you loaded this game up, it was hard to quit. - Grim Fandango
I know some of you don't care for Adventure games, but this could win you over. The characters and scenery were outstanding. Lots of humor, great plot. Very creative game. - Curse of Monkey Island
Another Lucasarts adventure, and an all time classic. - American McGee's Alice:
A dark variation of the popular children story. Vivid, scary, and just downright creapy. - Medal of Honor
World WarII Shooter. This is almost as much fun as NOLF. - NOLF: The Operative
I'm sorry to say this, but NOLF was...and still is..the best of the series. And one of the best FPS games EVER! I know NOLF2 is excellent, but still pales in comparison to the original. I might even try to find a copy online so I can play it again. Should never have given mine away.

I'm sorry to say this, but NOLF was...and still is..the best of the series. And one of the best FPS games EVER! I know NOLF2 is excellent, but still pales in comparison to the original. I might even try to find a copy online so I can play it again. Should never have given mine away.
No promises, but you should strongly consider trying to get it back...
As soon as I retrieve mine from my brother I'm going to do something stupid just to see if it works.

I'm going to try and get it back. I don't think the person whom I gave it to even played it once. Probably sitting in a desk drawer collecting dust.
