While Ive not played with him per se, Ive dealth with him through the game console. I monitored his gameplay with IDWLOD in the Calcutta Poster map where he was maliciously tranqing cops and NPC's. IDWLOD was pleading with him to stop doing it and hide.
I threw in several suggestions to stop the goofing around all of which were unanswered . I decided to boot him to get his attention.
His explanation to IDWLOD was that he is Italian and his english is not so good.
Don't think it's a language barrier as a maturity barrier, one that simply has not been crossed. (S)He bears watching. Not a troublemaker, but can be a pain in the asre (if the spelling is wrong, then asre=ass).
Seeker needs some seroius watching. Far too many of her/his "oops"s are intentional in my opinion, and maybe a couple of her/his "wild shots" were not miss directed.
When we playing the other day s/he gassed me several times, the first few were "np" since targets were somewhat close, but about the 5/6th time I warned IT that "np, but it is becomig a problem". The next time I whacked IT saying "Now it is a problem". S/He got the message until some else joined them it was back to "oops", with them.
I popped in on the SS level in the TRON-world where if you shoot one of the SS's, the level ends for everyone. Ghost and Zerominusten died and respawned down there. I was already down there so I told them not to shoot anything down here or it'll end the game for the others, Ghost (but not Zero) acknowledged in plain English, then both proceeded to go ballistic on the SS's until the game ended.
I just encountered him myself for the first time. He was uncooperative and wouldn't respond to my messages. I was just about to boot him but he already left. He is coming close to being placed on the infamous banlist.
gorf warned ghost already. if you see him/her, ban it.
zero will be warned momentarily via private message. it's not my problem if s/he doesn't read it before next connecting, so feel free to ban on any problems.

At this point in time I think we only have 2 ways to grab their IP addys, unfortunately, they are both passive. I say this based on a comment Cainan made to me about researching the ability to grab their IP addys when they register....as in....we dont have the ability to do that yet.
#1) Catch the player on the Voodoo server and do a listclients command from scmd
#2 Get the player to register and actually post something.
Now do you see why Ive been killing myself to get people to introduce themselves? I dont care if they like to banana people...I want the IP Addy's
Now see...if Ghost actually posted something and his IP lookup says Comcast, I could kick him in his Italian speaking ass when he says " Ima no speaka de english veddy goot.
By the way, next time they say they are from another country, get their IP and look up the location.

I am confident that I understand "play nice or leave" fully in at least 4 other languages, none of which is igpay atinlay. So, I think I'm qualified to suggest that if a person understand English well enough to get registered and find the password, their native language is a poor excuse for their actions.
So, while looking up the IP address is a great suggestion, the truth that it would uncover is already irrelevant to me:)
Sad to say my Avatar is supposed to be BloodRayne getting her evening snack. It's what happens when you create an animated gif with 4 frames and have to reduce the colors to fit into the space limitation (60K last I checked) for avatars.
LOL! To me it looked like a pornographic image. Two men kissing, or something along those lines. It's bad enough same sex marriages have been made legal in California. We don't need them here at Voodoo as well!
Off-topic: What the hell is it with the public's fascination with vampires? I just don't get it. Do dim-witted Americans believe they are real or something? There have been countless TV shows and movies over the past few years that centered around this subject, and frankly it's getting old. Buffy the Vampire slayer sucked, pardon the pun. It just never appealed to me. Enough! No more Vampire stories. Time to move on and create something original!
