Are you sure he killed Smoke? Maybe you were imagining this? So far the only trick I have discovered is how to knock his hat off.

I'm not sure... but I am sure that I saw Yamata-San run up to him, do "something" with his katana, and step back, and I also saw the message "smoke was killed." And indeed, his blip went blue. And... it was all through the crossbow scope.
I think what they did was taze him, although at one point I was pretty sure somebody dropped a sleep or stun grenade. Where they got the nades I don't know. Smoke was fooling around in front of Yamata-San and I guess Yamata-San was alert and annoyed enough...
I tried to get him to attack again but no luck. Did you at least get him to run like a ninja girl? Maybe our session linked him to the wrong AI
heres what i was doing
i was shooting out the windows in the car and i almost hit him then he went all alert i shoot an arrow by him to see what he would do. thats all i can remember off the top of my head
