I was a Dr Who fan back in the early 80's when I was going to school, and I had a vague recollection of what a Tardis was. googled it and came up with this. Its what I remember. I guess if they called it a phone both thingy that time travels it would taken away from the high tech feel of the show

Small on the outside, big on the inside. Kind of like a Tardis. Dr. Who fans will understand what I mean.

I started watching Dr. Who reruns when I was in Junior Hight. Tom Baker and John Pertwee were my favorite Doctors, and best of the bunch, in my opinion.
